About This Role

We are looking for a highly motivated SAP Systems/ Solutions Architect who is passionate about implementing and transitioning our organization to meet its corporate objectives. You will help define solution strategy, drive design and technical implementation, and architect innovative solutions. You will work on diverse projects from gathering customer requirements to implementing the solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.

This position requires excellent stakeholder management and technical skills, expertise with architecture, design, and implementation of information security software, identity and access management system, or enterprise software, and documentation experience in the health-care industry dealing with HIPPA / GDPR / International Data Residency requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Applies multi-discipline expertise and systems knowledge to implement and support the migration to SAP 4/HANA from our existing ERP and help orchestrate the transformation of our Enterprise Systems ecosystem.

* To facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FI/CO for Wave One of our ERP transformation
* In subsequent Waves, to implement and support Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, MM, PP, SD and related SAP modules
* Implementation and support of peripheral systems such as Adaptive Insights, Blackline and Concur and their respective integrations
* Collaborate and create networks with internal business partners spanning related disciplines such as Manufacturing and Supply Chain
* Collaborate with third party Systems Integrators and Vendors
* Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements
* Gain a thorough understanding of customer business requirements, processes, and objectives to develop necessary product modifications to satisfy customer needs by mapping the requirements with existing functionality
* Assist with Financial process and automation improvements such as month, quarter and year-end close processes
* Document functional designs, test cases and results
* Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical teams
* Work self-directed and independently and provide direction to other ERP team members
* Establish themselves as the subject matter expert for SAP modules and technology
* Evaluate AI process improvement and Robotic Process Automation opportunities to leverage AI to improve operational efficiency.

Position Requirements



  • BS Degree in computer science or related degree; Master's degree preferred
  • 12 plus years' work experience in SAP consulting, systems integration focused on the Life-sciences / Healthcare / Digital Healthcare business segments
  • Extensive configuration knowledge on S/4 HANA for the following core modules: FI/CO, MM, PP, SD and related Modules
  • Extensive international / cross-border configuration experience
  • Development experience using ABAP objects, CDS Views, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments and OData developments
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model
  • Knowledge about Forms, Reports, and Label printing and Custom Report Design and RICEF Objects
  • Strong experience with both FDA and SOX compliant validations and controls
  • Strong international / cross-border configuration experience
  • Must have implementation and support experience
  • Good troubleshooting, analytical skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Deep Knowledge of SAP data schemas and structures
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
  • 25% travel during project duration (Southern California)

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

Estimated Pay Range
$155,000 $175,000 USD
