Position Title: Production Operator
Wage: $17/hour Shift: Day, Night Hours: 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am; Rotating schedule We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference! Join our team and have the opportunity to grow with us! QPS Employment Group is looking for a Production Operator to work for a company in Richfield, WI. This manufacturing facility produces plastic components for the healthcare industry. The Production Operator is responsible for ensuring the automation cell continues running by answering alarms, loading springs or plastic components, and verifying inventory is available and pulled. With this opportunity, you will be able to interact with cutting edge automation equipment. This is a contract to hire role. Production Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Load materials into hoppers and manage inventory using RF scanners - Conduct visual inspections of incoming parts - Monitor automation cell performance, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with team members - Maintain cleanliness in the work area and follow cleanroom requirements Production Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Manufacturing and RF scanner experience a plus, not required - Adequate computer and math skills - Experience with automation machines/equipment is a plus - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to identify problems - Must be able to multi-task - Must be able to visually inspect products and identify defects as defined by the work instructions - Must be detail-oriented to be able to accurately verify part numbers - Ability to use powered pallet jacks - Must have a positive attitude that promotes the culture - Fully aligned with core values - teamwork, passion, integrity, safety - Willing and able to stand and move throughout the shift - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and the use of wrist and hands - Work in a cleanroom environment and wear appropriate PPE as required per ISO standards QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
