Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managing release change tickets and reviews with change compliance across the organization
- Ensure proper creation and approvals of change tickets in compliance with change standards
- Assist in development and roll-out of one single process and manage dashboard of change metrics
- Guide teams in the creation of change tickets in tool and/or creation of tickets
- Develop and rollout ticket future ticket creation process
- Guide teams on proper creation of tasks within teams
- Communicate release calendar dates and manage approval process for exceptions
- Manage gathering of ticket approvals across teams
- Coordinate tickets throughout lifecycle of status from Planning to Closed and coordinate any exception approvals for tickets not within SLA
- Manage Post Implementation Review incident documentation
- Close tickets with proper paperwork
- Ensure upload of evidence with nonmaterial changes and ensure material evidence is uploaded by Project Managers
- Generate and present change ticket metrics
- Partner with offshore resource to hand off tasks in non US hours
- Attend any change forum meetings and communicate and changes to the teams
- Present ticket status at change management calls
- Partner and manage work tasks with offshore team
- Generate change management metrics reporting
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience with managing change and/or deployments (release manager) for technical projects in financial services industry
- Experience with BMC remedy
- Excellent communication skills and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment with change, agile tools, Jira
- Ability to quick learn new tools, process, and procedures
