Responsibilities

SUMMARY

The Integration Team Lead is a technical specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, ensuring seamless data exchange between a company and its business partners by analyzing, mapping, and troubleshooting EDI transactions to guarantee accuracy and compliance with industry standards; this role involves collaborating with internal teams and trading partners to identify EDI requirements, develop mapping documents, and resolve any issues arising from data transmission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Monitor EDI Transactions for errors and data discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain Partner Electronic transactions including EDI, SFTP, Flat-file and AS2 type of transactions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Electronic related transactions related to data mapping, format errors and communication protocols.
  • Configure, Code and Maintain EDI and Transaction Communication application systems, including trading partner setup and data translation rules.
  • Analyze business requirements to develop EDI data mapping specifications.
  • Create and maintain EDI translation maps to ensure accurate data exchange between systems.
  • Identify and address data quality issues within EDI transactions.
  • Generate reports on EDI transaction volumes, error rates, and performance metrics.

SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGPCo Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
  • Participate in job site safety and hazard analysis.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, and ANSI
  • Knowledge of EDI mapping tools and software (e.g., Gentran, SPS Commerce, Boomi)
  • Understanding of data formats (e.g., flat files, XML, Rosetta net)
  • Communication Protocols (e.g., VLTRADER)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ year of experience working in this field
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and financial understanding
  • Ability to clearly communicate results of analysis and provide recommendations to business leaders
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • A team player who will think strategically and effectively when faced with difficult challenges
  • Highly motivated with a strong sense of duty
  • Knowledge of Microsoft D365 preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, short communications, and memos; draft simple written correspondence; and effectively communicate in one-on-one or small group settings with customers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Capable of performing calculations involving American currency and standard units of weight, volume, and distance.
  • The ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
