Senior Business Operations Coordinator - Remote in Louisiana

Provide process and operational support to the functions within Clinical and Business Operations. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, performing quality reporting/audits, assisting with support of continuous quality improvement using applicable tools, and collaborating with internal and external partners to support, develop, and maintain efficient processes related to reporting and clinical operations of case management team. This role can include initial triage of members for possible transition to clinical staff, managing admission and discharge census information, serving as a point of contact for facilities and clinical teams, telephonic and other methods of engagement (ie: email, fax) with our members, providers and other internal/external partners.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years of health care or customer service work experience with solid verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) computer applications
• Intermediate level of proficiency with computer skills and applications, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Proven ability to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm CST
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with solid organizational and time management skills, to include prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with various person(s)/groups to achieve team goals/objectives
• Proven ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with medical insurance/managed care organization
• Experience in healthcare with working knowledge of the healthcare industry, roles, and terminology
• Experience working in a virtual environment

The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
