Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $25-$32/hour Shift: 1st Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-3pm, Friday 6am-Noon QPS is looking for an experienced CNC Set-up/Operator for a company in Waukesha, WI. If you have a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as a team, we would like to talk with you! CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate CNC turning and milling machines - Select and verify proper tooling and fixtures for set-up operations - Adjust offsets - Monitor, inspect, and document part quality data as specified on prints and shop travelers - Maintain proper fluid levels on all machines, minor machine maintenance - Keep machine and work area clean CNC Machinist Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - Minimum 3 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC machines Fanuc controls preferred - Auto bar feeder experience is a plus - Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, customer specifications, quality standards and bills of material - Basic G&M code knowledge - Must be proficient using hand measuring instruments micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial bore gauges, etc. - will be tested at the interview - Ability to edit programs as needed to improve efficiency and productivity - Ability to communicate effectively with others QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
