Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst. This role is with an insurance company based in Milwaukee, WI (preferred) but open to 100% remote candidates. The contract duration is 12+ months. Responsibilities: Partner with peer groups, business partners, and product management to learn business area/domain, while continuing to learn and grow knowledge across the enterprise Document and assess the current state in a few processes, or a single business area/domain Assist with task-based work items in more complex situations Responsible for fact-based requirement gathering, including all system, technical, and intake requests Author user stories and/or features independently with low to medium complexity while participating in some task-based work in higher complexity situations Assist throughout the development process as needs arise Documentation will be done in Confluence, Jira, Figma, and Mural Assist with coordinating and reviewing test plans for smaller or non-complex efforts Independently provide execution on testing as needed (UAT, checkouts, etc.) Use project management principles to successfully complete and advance work Requirements: Bachelor's degree 1-3 Years of Experience in industry or business. Ability to lean on strong communication skills to influence outcomes while approaching conflict Experience in Writing Technical requirements and translating Business needs Testing and QA experience Advanced experience in data Domain expertise via previous internships or similar roles Deep familiarity with agile and scrum development environments Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents Preferred Requirements: Certifications demonstrating mastery of role-specific competencies Compensation: Up to $53 an hour W2H Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
