Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) was founded after the 2010 Deepwater Horizon well control incident to provide the response capabilities needed if a similar event occurs in the future. Position Overview & Responsibilities The MCV Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the effective planning, scheduling, and execution of all preventative and corrective maintenance activities that occur at MWCC's MCV shore base located in Ingleside, Texas while tracking spend against the approved budget. The role will enforce the safe execution of work management principles on daily activities, which are associated with MWCC equipment, ensuring that the right type and frequency of preventative maintenance is being performed and that work execution is done in accordance with MWCC's workflow management process within SAP and the WorkSafe electronic permit to work process. This position will also oversee larger maintenance projects/work to ensure work is performed in a safe and efficient manner that meets or exceeds OEM requirements. This position will be MWCC's shore base subject matter expert on all Topsides production equipment being stored at the shore base. The Maintenance Superintendent will also provide daily technical support for the WorkSafe electronic permit-to-work system and the SAP maintenance management system and will process all shore base-related SURF and MCV Maintenance Change Requests (MCRs). Some travel will be required between shore bases and Houston HQ for effective implementation and execution of job duties. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Response Specific Responsibilities In the event of MWCC activation, the Maintenance Superintendent at the MCV Shore Base will fulfill the role of SURF Mobilization Technician and will relocate to the SURF Shore Base in Theodore, Alabama, unless otherwise assigned.

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds. Shore base/Non-Office Jobs The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh environmental conditions (heat and cold), fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, congested work environments, and heavy equipment operations. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires being able to manipulate components such as valves and other mechanical equipment, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing stairs and access ladders on a routine basis. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Offshore Marine/Ship Jobs The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh environmental conditions (heat and cold), fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, congested work environments, and heavy equipment operations. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and may require the extended use of hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and may be required to manipulate components such as valves and other mechanical equipment, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing stairs and access ladders on a routine basis. The employee may frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This job position may require visits to vessels and facilities while in port and potential at sea and will need to have meet the physical requirements to complete offshore water survival and HUET training. This includes but not limited to the physical abilities to transfer shore to ship, ship to ship, helicopter to ship while using approved means such as bridges and personnel transfer devices.
