Description

As a Specialty Product Specialist at InformData, you will be responsible for obtaining detailed work history information from record holders and verifying company information provided by the subjects. Your work will be essential in ensuring that our clients receive accurate, validated information, fostering trust and maintaining a high level of integrity in all transactions.   • Handle inbound and outbound calls to record holders, ensuring accurate and efficient information retrieval.
  • Verify and document information obtained during calls in company systems while maintaining data integrity.
  • Maintain professionalism in all communications, including phone, email, and written correspondence with internal teams and external record holders.
  • Adhere to company standards and compliance guidelines to ensure quality and accuracy in records management.
  • Proactively follow up on pending or incomplete requests to secure necessary verifications in a timely manner.
  • Identify and escalate complex or high-priority cases to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Resolve escalated cases by conducting additional outreach, clarifying discrepancies, and obtaining verified work records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address verification challenges and improve processes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and company policies to enhance call handling efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Adaptable and flexible in response to process changes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent active listening skills with the ability to accurately capture and document information
  • Proficient in navigating multiple computer applications quickly and accurately
  • Persistent with effective probing techniques to gather necessary details
  • Ability to document information efficiently and with precision
  • Strong judgment skills to ensure accurate reporting
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex issues
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to complete assignments thoroughly and accurately
  • Ability to type 60 words per minute or more
  • Strong grammar and spelling accuracy
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Proficiency in data collection and computer applications
  • At least six months of previous customer service or call center experience
  • Prior data entry experience preferred
  • Proven ability to meet productivity standards in a current or previous role

Working Conditions



  • This position requires the incumbent to work indoors at a desk for extended periods of time and use of work station.
  • The person must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • This position requires the ability to interact with all levels within the organization and requires the ability to respond professionally to all individuals and work well as a team player.
  • This position may be requested to work overtime on occasion to meet company objectives.


Physical Requirements



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to occasionally move about the office to access office equipment, etc.
  • Must be able to constantly operate office equipment such as a keyboard, phone, computer, copier, fax machine and printer, etc.
  • Must be able to frequently communicate with and listen to other INFORMDATA employees, clients, and vendors
  • Must be able to occasionally move, bend, lift, push, pull and carry no more than 20 pounds
  • Must be able to view multiple monitors for extended periods of time and visually determine accuracy, details and transcribe date in close proximity of computer software
