If making a positive impact in the lives of others is a constant on your to-do list -- you'll LOVE working with a team that puts people first.

Mosaic is looking for an Executive Director to join our team!

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the Executive Director is responsible for managing all business and programmatic matters of the agency in accordance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and within budgetary guidelines. Responsibilities include overseeing all program services, personnel management, financial management, and community and public relations.

Who will love this job:

  • A self-starter -- you find progress in ambiguity and strive to over-deliver on all your responsibilities.
  • A strategic thinker - you bring a thorough and conscientious approach to making decisions and are skilled at filtering the next steps in achieving the organization's overall goal
  • A thoughtful mediator -you're consultative, receptive, and authentic through tough situations and think creatively to discover solutions using all available resources
  • A relater - who doesn't shy away from meeting or helping new people but instead forms solid, genuine, and mutually rewarding relationships.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, implement, and manage policies and procedures in order to provide quality services, meet or exceed accreditation standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate and foster employee engagement through open communication, fair practices, and recognition programs.
  • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, training, development, and supervising of staff.
  • Establish and maintain open communication with staff as well as individuals served and families and/or guardians of individuals receiving services.
  • Oversee local fundraising events in conjunction with sustainable funding effort

Commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Belonging:

At Mosaic, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone has the chance to contribute and succeed. This commitment is not just a policy, it's the way we work. It's good for the workforce, it's good for Mosaic, and it's the right thing to do.

You should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
  • Minimum of five years experience in a related field, with two years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Motivation to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills

Good to have (but not deal breakers):

  • Successful experience in budget management and human resources preferred.

Extras we think you'll love:

  • Competitive pay
  • Health insurance
  • Professional and personal development opportunities
  • Tuition assistance
  • Paid time off (earn it from day one!)
