Research Data Analyst Psych-Core-Rsch Full Time 83943BR Job Summary Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the candidate will provide research and data analysis assistance to Dr. Christina Mangurian's clinical research program that is funded by the Department of State Hospitals (DSH). This research is a collaborative effort between the DSH and UCSF. The research is related to a variety of forensic psychiatric issues, including risk assessment, risk management, malingering, competence restoration and other issues as dictated by the needs of the DSH. The individual in this position will be responsible for mastering large databases, creating excellent working relationship with all state hospitals necessary to maintain research activities, the recruitment of subjects for this research, conducting structured assessments of competence in psychiatric patients, symptom ratings of these patients, thorough record reviews, administration of instruments, scoring, data entry, development of databases, maintaining research records, and other research related duties. Strong skills in human psychological research or a related field are necessary. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $94,200 (Annual Rate).
