Summary/Objective: The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the facility. Key duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, dusting surfaces, emptying trash, and maintaining kitchen areas. The role also involves stocking cleaning supplies, handling minor repairs, ensuring safety standards are followed, and reporting any maintenance issues. Additionally, the Janitor will perform deep cleaning tasks and assist with special projects as needed, ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times. Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Specific PPE may be required in certain areas. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager. Travel: Travel not required.
