Summary
Work as part of a team to complete larger multi-layered tasks and projects, focusing on specific bioinformatics engineering tasks and assigned projects Essential Functions -Collaborate with senior engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. -Modify and develop new data visualization tools using datasets and web-based bioinformatics tools, with an emphasis on integrating various data types and identifying opportunities and needs for innovative solutions for the analysis and management of biological data in relevant databases. -Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers. -Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues. -Contribute to the documentation of software designs and processes. -Design, implement, test, maintain, and support web applications. -Practice software development, unit testing, integration testing, code review, documentation, and version control.
