As a process operator at IPG, you will join the team responsible for producing our world-class semiconductor lasers in a class 1000 clean room. You will have the opportunity to receive training from highly experienced engineers and learn many exciting, new skills. By following our standard operating procedures for wafer fabrication, you will learn how take a semiconductor wafer into a working laser chip.

Responsibilities:



  • Operate manufacturing tools to process high quality product.
  • Identify errors/product defects during manufacturing process.
  • Work with various chemicals during the photolithography process.
  • Work with computers to document information.
  • Follow established standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Work in a self-directed team environment to achieve daily goals.


Requirements:



  • Comfortable working with fragile parts and semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime. Must be present and on time for work as scheduled.
  • Be able to work carefully, consistently.
  • Have drive and the capability to be cross-trained.
  • Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Windows.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of shift
  • Schedule will be either 5 am-1 pm or 6 am-2 pm
