Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for supporting clients with various tasks within the accounting and finance functions.

Job Duties:

• Functions in various capacities including Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Business Analyst for clients
• Assists with miscellaneous accounting reports
• Participates in various ad hoc projects
• Participates in all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
• Assists clients with ad-hoc, internal, or external reporting
• Assists with complex accounting issues, implementation of new accounting pronouncements
• Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED, required
• Bachelor's degree, preferred

Experience:

• Three (3) or more years related experience, required
• Experience working with public, private or private equity companies, required
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or SAP, preferred
• Professional services industry experience, preferred
• Public Accounting experience, preferred
• Experience with MS Excel at advanced level, preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):

• CPA, preferred

Software:

• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, required

• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism even under pressure
• Team player and contribute knowledge as well as ask for help
• Fast learner and able to work ethically and effectively
• Strong interpersonal and oral and written communications skills with ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels of customers' and internal organization
• Continually strive to improve inter-personal, management, functional, and technical skills set
• Ability to travel minimum of 50%, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Colorado Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Illinois Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Maryland Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Minnesota Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Washington Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Washington DC Range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
