Material Handler

We are looking for Material Handlers to support our production team by ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials. This role requires multi-skilling and working knowledge of various production processes, including saw and bundle sorting, packaging, forklift operation, loading, and special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:
* Prioritize safety at all times.
* Work collaboratively to uphold our "people first" culture.
* Safely and efficiently clear production lines.
* Transport and organize bundles, raw materials, and packaging to maintain production flow.
* Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* Perform quality control checks and grade product color.
* Maintain accurate records of materials, saw logs, and scrap counts.
* Keep the work area clean and organized to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
* Follow Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and other safety protocols.
* Complete special projects as required by supervisors.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts, standing for extended periods.
* Ability to obtain forklift certification (requires proper vision, hearing, and motor skills).
* Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
* Must wear PPE at all times.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Previous experience in manufacturing or material handling is preferred.
