Job Summary
Develop, implement, evaluate, and refine a comprehensive, integrated communications strategy and tactics to support Georgia Tech-Europe's strategy, as an international off-campus instructional site of Georgia Institute of Technology, while acting as an advisor Georgia Tech Europes executive leadership. This is a role supporting and leading an aspect of Georgia Tech's global engagement. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: executive leadership of the Georgia Tech-Europe units, staff, unit and Institute management, Georgia Tech-Europe alumni, and external stakeholders. This position typically will advise and counsel: executive leadership of Georgia Tech-Europe, staff, unit and Institute management, and external stakeholders. This position will supervise: Georgia Tech-Europe's Communications Program Manager, Education Outreach Manager, and other assigned staff.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Formulate, articulate, and execute a strategic marketing and communications vision for Georgia Tech-Europe that internally and externally promotes specific services, facilities, and expertise offered in designated campus units.
Job Duty 2 - Provide thought partnership to executive leadership on initiatives.
Job Duty 3 - Supervise a team of Georgia Tech-Europes communication professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-quality outputs and professional development.
Job Duty 4 - Manage the Georgia Tech-Europes communications budget, working in collaboration with team leadership, ensuring efficient use of resources while achieving strategic goals.
Job Duty 5 - Oversee the Georgia Tech-Europe website and social media platforms, ensuring timely updates and relevant content.
Job Duty 6 - Understand, engage in, and assess GTEs departmental operations and related strategic goals to further integrate communications initiatives
Job Duty 7 - Develop a comprehensive, cohesive communication plan for Georgia Tech-Europes strategic goals and critical initiatives: lead unit level multi-media marketing and communications efforts that target internal and external audiences, support business goals, and enhance Georgia Tech-Europes and the Institute's reputation.
Job Duty 8 - Serve as the liaison between Institute Communications, and Georgia Tech-Europe leadership. Provide direct marketing and communications support and counsel for Georgia Tech-Europe and programs.
Job Duty 9 - Organize events to create a cohesive, engaged communications and education outreach team and create alignment and engagement throughout campus with the communications and education outreach team.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience Five to seven years job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
A master's degree and leadership experience are preferred for this leadership role.

Additional Duties Alumni Engagement and Strategic Outreach: Design and implement alumni engagement initiatives to strengthen connections with Georgia Tech-Europe, Georgia Tech, and the broader university community. Develop targeted communication strategies, including newsletters, digital campaigns, and personalized outreach. Highlight alumni achievements, campus updates, and opportunities for involvement. Strategic Communications Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of Georgia Tech-Europe. Engage diverse audiences, including prospective and current students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external stakeholders. Collaborate with Georgia Tech-Europe leadership in Atlanta and the GTE President in Metz, France. Shape the communications landscape of Georgia Techs European instructional site, fostering global connections. Team Leadership and Development: Lead performance coaching and supervision of GTE-Atlanta communications and outreach team members. Organize training for GTE communications and outreach team members. Support communications planning for other GTE units by providing expertise in communications, marketing, and outreach. Mentor non-communications and outreach team members as needed. Global Collaboration and Outreach: May travel to Georgia Tech-Europe in France for site visits and collaborative planning. Work in an international and multicultural environment to strengthen Georgia Techs global impact. Facilitate cross-cultural communication strategies to engage international audiences. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences and cultural contexts. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies and alumni engagement programs. Proficiency in digital communication tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms. Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is strongly preferred. Experience studying, working, or living abroad is highly valued, especially in roles requiring cross-cultural communication. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail. Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to adapt to dynamic global contexts.

This is a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does require a purchasing card (P-Card). This position will not travel. This position does not require security clearance. Salary Job Grade A11 Salary range is dependent on candidates experiences and skills that ranges from $100,000 - $115,000.
