Overview

The Director of Provider Compensation is responsible for the administration and reporting of Carle Physician and Advanced Practice Provider compensation plans. Provides leadership in the development and design of provider compensation plans as they relate to the compensation objectives of Carle. Develops and maintains documentation of Specialty Specific Pay Practice related to the calculation methodologies in place. Works directly with senior clinical dyad leaders on compensation updates and compensation questions.

  • Bachelor's Degree: Related Field

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design, maintenance and reporting of all physician compensation plans.
  • Annual updating of Specialty Specific Pay Practices.
  • Works with dyad leadership
  • Achieve market-based compensation plans that meet the provider staffing objectives of Carle.
  • Oversees communication and distribution of physician and APP compensation data to providers/leaders
  • Assures data is provided timely and accurately.
  • Directs Physician and APP Compensation reporting development and distribution in conjunction with own staff and IMA.
  • Will oversee the maintenance of reporting
  • Is responsible for ad hoc changes that may be needed from time to time
  • Accommodate compensation plan changes and enhancements as requested by Carle Leadership.
  • Provides administrative oversight for all physician compensation plans
  • Oversees quarterly review of physician productivity bonus calculations, annual review of physician quality bonus calculations, and as needed review and adjustment of physician draws.
  • Oversees the Physician Leadership, Residency and Carle Illinois College of Medicine contract process, documentation and physician payment and reconciliation process.
  • Oversees and attends individual initial physician and APP orientations as they relate to compensation and productivity reporting.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all Physician and APP compensation information to which there is access.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $48.33per hour - $83.13per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
