Test & Evaluation Engineer

**Active Secret clearance is required**
  • As a CWL Test & Evaluation Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of our projects.
  • Collaborating with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct testing and integration.
  • Employing a professional and confident approach when working with various engineering groups within Progeny and external entities to define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests.
  • Identifying functional issues and proposing effective resolutions.
  • Operating in a fast-paced, integrated product development team comprising professionals from multiple contracting organizations and DoD laboratory entities.
  • Developing and analyzing test cases while providing regular progress updates.
  • Reporting to a supervisor or manager, demonstrating high autonomy in your work.
  • This role may need intermittent travel, both independently and as part of a team, to support test events in partner and government labs and shipboard installations in domestic and international locations.
  • Crafting comprehensive test procedures.
  • Proficiently utilizing electrical measurement tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Conducting Verification and Validation for corrective changes.
  • Performing installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems.
  • Assisting in configuring the lab with relevant drawings and port maps.
  • Supporting informal and formal test events and other customer-driven test activities.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software, firmware, and hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Occasional travel to submarine home ports for Field Services activities.
  • Supporting the Logistics team in the development of installation and operation procedures.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, Submarine Weapon Launchers, or AN/BQQ-10 systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Proficiency in software testing and analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • General knowledge of network configurations, operations, and commands.
  • Navy or Submarine experience.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
