Job Description Summary:The incumbent will perform research about processes responsible for maritime convective organization and the representation of those processes in NSF NCAR community models and compare/validate these processes using remote sensing observations including Doppler and polarimetric radar, lidar, and satellite. This incumbent will be involved an NSF NCAR-wide initiative called Integrating Field Observations and Research Model (INFORM) and collaborate with other members of the INFORM initiative.
This position will sit in the Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Lab (MMM).
