As a Pega Developer - Expert, your expertise and creative problem-solving will be key in revolutionizing digital workflows and supporting a mission dedicated to excellence in service.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Design and develop web applications and web services using technologies including Pega PRPC 6.1 SP2 (or higher), Pega CSHC, Java, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net, XML, SQL, and Visual Studio.Net.
  • Develop both conceptual and technical designs that meet evolving business needs.
  • Efficiently perform day-to-day design documentation, analysis, and development tasks.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and business teams to design robust solutions and resolve business system issues.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to review requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Participate in walkthrough reviews of specifications and technical designs to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Define ad-hoc processes as necessary to address emerging business challenges.
  • Develop business rules that integrate seamlessly with business processes to deliver complete solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Pega software applications.
  • Utilize Pega's case management framework to create and manage case types for effective workflow tracking.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines while integrating DevOps practices to optimize development cycles..


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience includes exposure to installing, configuring, maintaining and managing Pega applications. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Be well versed in Pega's proprietary rules engine used to automate business processes.
  • Use Pega's visual development environment to design and implement process flows.
  • Possess a strong understanding of software development concepts, such as object-oriented programming, database design, and web development.
  • Have a solid understanding of business processes and be able to work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • An understanding of the business or function for which an application is designed and be able to write programs according to specifications is required.
  • Experience analyzing customer needs and developing overall concept and design objectives is required.
  • Experience debugging and correcting errors in computer programs is required.
  • Hands on technical knowledge and responsibility over of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming is required.
  • Must understand the business or function for which an application is designed.
  • Demonstrated ability to write programs according to specifications, which may be provided by engineers, technical architects, or other computer scientists is required.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues is required.
  • Ability to write scripts to automate repetitive tasks is required. Strong communication and collaboration skills to with end users and IT teams is required
