What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Group in Phoenix, Arizona! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Phoenix Office.
Joining the dams and hydraulics team at GFT means contributing to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure. What you'll be challenged to do:
This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Senior Project Geotechnical Engineer who has experience with Utility Clients and Projects that involve heavy civil work and earth work.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
* Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience post-graduation, preferably in the Power Delivery sector.
* P.E. in Arizona is required, or ability to obtain in first 6 months of hire.
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications, gINT, ALLPILE, GEO-SLOPE, GRLWEAP, LPILE, SLIDE, FAD Tools, SHAFT, SETTLE3D software. What we prefer you bring: * Master's Degree with a Geotechnical focus is strongly preferred
* Previous role with supervisory duties.
* Strong leadership skills and willingness to lead engineering / geology teams.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
