Overview

Responsibilities

As a IT Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to do the following:

    Be responsible for the cost, schedule and performance of assigned project.
  • Directly support the government lead and provides day-to-day planning and oversight for Independent Verification and Validation for the customer's IT Portfolio.
  • Work closely with the customer's IT leadership representatives and the contractor IT workforce to provide "day-to-day" support.
  • Responsible for the full range of matters pertaining to all assured information systems under the customer's cognizance.
  • Maintain an overall health and status awareness of all assigned resources and projects through effective and flexible resource and task management.
  • Conduct stand-up meetings with the contractor IT workforce to review operational status and planned work; provide applicable updates to customer leadership as required.
  • Supports the continuous improvement program for IT and develops recommendations for idea, process, and technology improvement to overall IT management.


Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree with a discipline in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline (preferred)
  • Ten (10) years experience in Program/Project Management supporting:
  • Project plans, schedules, risk registry and quality assurance plans
  • Enterprise level Independent Verification and Validation
  • System Lifecyle Process Assessment and Monitoring
  • DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Analysis experience: Analysis of Alternatives, Root Causes Analysis and Gap Analysis
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $132,300.00/Yr. - USD $278,400.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
