Responsibilities

As a Systems Administrator (Windows) with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response to maintain operating efficiency.

Provide technical guidance to meet Cyber Support Squadron goals utilizing sound and reasonable solutions to meet complex and challenging problems.
Perform system security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
Work on the development or refinement of current and future IT systems.
Set up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.

Qualifications

Active TS/SSBI with SCI eligibility
2- 4Years of related experience maintaining smooth operation of multi-user, Windows-based computer systems
Applicable training certificate issued in accordance with guidelines provided by the software vendor (i.e. Microsoft MCSE/MCSA, Oracle DBA, etc.) from an accredited training institution plus related experience.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification such as:

Security+ CE (Continuing Education)
SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
GSEC Certification
GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional)
CySA+ ** (Cybersecurity Analyst)
CCNA Security (Cisco Certified Network Associate - Security)

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $66,100.00/Yr. - USD $139,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
