Overview

Responsibilities

As a Fighter SME with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

Create realistic and relevant operational training opportunities to AF Total Force joint warfighter participants via distributive means.

All aspects of A/A fighter mission planning and execution of all A/A aspects of ECC operations.
Oversee all A/A centric LVC-OT missions that the DTOC produces.Participate as Event Controller for multiple LVC-OT event types while maintaining focus on A/A events.
Conduct mission briefing, execution and debriefing, and post mission documentation.
Provide A/A expertise in support of DTOC mission planning.
Create scenarios within Environment Generator software.
Coordinate with NOC personnel for ECC set-up.
Troubleshoot operations related software and hardware issues.
Provide academic briefings as coordinated with Training Manager.
Support meetings as DTOC A/A Fighter SME.Advise DTOC Leadership on LVC-OT events and A/A operations related issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree
Secret Clearance
Minimum three (3) years' experience conducting training in a DMO environment.Current or previous Weapons School or Top Gun Graduate, air-to-air instructor pilotand minimum five (5) years operational air-to-air experience
Current or previous fighter aircraft pilot or weapons system operator with robust air-to-air background
Must be currently or previously qualified in USAF, USN, or USMC fighter aircraft
Must be knowledgeable in 5th Gen fighter employment to incorporate into daily customer mission catalogs and part of SME academics program.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $92,100.00/Yr. - USD $193,900.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
