The Project Management Office Manager is responsible for leading the activities of project management and projects within the Luxor organization. The PMO ensures that the best project management practices and standards are met to deliver maximum value through its projects. This position will work closely with all departments within the organization. The primary responsibilities will include the collection and standardization of all projects, improving project execution across the organization, alignment of project-based activity with overall strategic plans, prioritization, scope, budget, adherence to schedule, monitoring and controlling project performance, and improving organizational structure and performance. The PMO manager will manage a staff of project managers, reporting project status, aligning the resources required, and managing the scope and resources of each. The PMO manager will participate in the S&OP monthly cycle, reporting out status of all projects managed within the PMO office and have an integral role in the development, management, and maintenance of an S&OP program. The PMO manager will ensure project scope is clear, budgets are adhered to, and timelines are met. The PMO manager will also provide governance for the organization related to projects submitted, prioritization and development of KPI's and report out monthly for all cross functional areas.
