SummaryWorks within the Process Engineering team to participate in the development and ongoing support of weld and braze joints on X-ray products. Collaborates with operations to understand the weld and joining needs of each area including operators and equipment. Works with Research and Development to design weld and braze joints. Continues support by performing prototype welds and brazes. Ensures the successful transfer of new welds, joints, equipment, methods, processes, tooling and fixturing from engineering to production. Creates, owns, and modifies production work instructions. Trains operators in welding skills, machine operation, and production processes. Completes projects to optimize processes, lean out activities, and cost reduce product. Performs experimentations, analyzes data, and writes technical reports. Job Description Experience Level with Business Tools Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Education and Experience Must be pursuing a welding and joining degree.
