Overview

Brothers Paving & Concrete is one of the leading paving, concrete, and parking lot maintenance companies in the DC Metro Area, with 35+ years of experience. The Primary responsibility of the Luteman is to rake and spead asphalt, base, dirt or other materials to the proper grade and finish in parking lots, roads and driveways with appropriate usage of a lute rake. Assist with the installation of new asphalt surfaces. Assist with the repair of existing asphalt surfaces.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Duties:

    Distributes asphaltic materials by raking, smoothing and adjusting surface irregularities.
  • Restores surface finish, spreads asphalt to proper grade and finishes before compaction.
  • Matches and finishes freshly made asphalt paving joints evenly.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Pass pre-employment screen and criminal background check
  • Previous work experience in construction or related as an asphalt laborer or flagger.
  • Knowledge of road and traffic regulations
  • Previous related experience of 3-5 years needed in the construction field and/or training
