Position Summary
Associate Director's duties are to assist the Direct of MBA Admissions in the development and implementation of strategic recruitment and yield initiatives focused on an MBA program. The Associate Director shall be primarily focused on enrollment and recruitment.

The position is based at the Terry Executive Education Center (TEEC) in Atlanta, located at 3475 Lenox Rd NE, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30326.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with some evening and occasional weekend hours.
  • Knowledge in web-based operating, application and CRM systems.
  • High level competency in office software.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic recruitment and yield initiatives.
  • Assists the Director in shaping the incoming classes by advising and interviewing prospective students.
  • Evaluate academic and professional backgrounds to assess admissibility.
  • Make admissions recommendations.
  • Oversee admissions process.
  • Consult with various University offices and departments to respond to admissions and student-related inquiries, issues, and problems.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Plan and participate in recruitment events both on-and off-campus; oversee logistics and participate in information sessions, class visits and other events; assess effectiveness and participate in goal setting. Attend program related events including incoming student yield events, student and alumni networking, graduation, and other events hosted by the department.
  • Become proficient in SLATE, the prospect and applicant data base system, including understanding how to build queries, reports, mailings, campaigns, forms, and events. Attend SLATE specific trainings.
  • Work with prospect and applicant data base system (SLATE) to manage the college's interactions with applicants and accepted students. Document all customer interactions, in SLATE.

Compile data for reporting purposes including application, admission and enrollment reports; class profile data; ranking surveys; national trend surveys. Become proficient in EXCEL to calculate responses for reporting. Maintain awareness of competitive environment and national trends in working professional MBA programs.
