About the Role:
Join Yardi's ResidentShield team as a Licensed Insurance
Agent and help property management clients and renters find the right coverage.
In this role, you'll sell insurance policies, answer inquiries, and provide
top-tier customer service via phone, email, and chat. You'll assist clients
with policy changes, explain coverage options, and ensure smooth policy
management. With a strong focus on education and customer support, you'll help
renters understand their insurance needs while maintaining accurate records and
following up with prospective policyholders. If you're a detail-oriented

What You'll Do:
- Answer a high-volume of calls from residents regarding
policy changes, policy coverage questions, and policy purchases - Sell insurance policies
- Connect with and fields inquiries from new and existing
clients via phone, email, and chat; escalates complex inquires to the senior
team members - Notify clients of policy updates, addresses policy holder
changes, reviews potential rate changes - Assist property managers with set up of external policies in
the property management platform - Review and update billing and processes policy
reinstatements - Develop and maintain a solid understanding of insurance
products and educates clients on the value of products and services - Document client interactions as per established department
guidelines - Follow up with prospective policy holder
Who You Are:
- High school diploma
or GED - Property and
Casualty Insurance license - One plus (1+) years
or experience in the insurance industry - Excellent customer
service and interpersonal skills - Excellent oral and
written communication skills - Solid analytical
skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively - Excellent attention
to detail and the ability to follow processes - Presentation and
sales skills - Proficient in
Microsoft Office 365 desktop applications
Helpful to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
