Description

The Finished Goods Master Data Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our master data, governance, and process optimization across the global organization. This role will be a part of the new Global MDM team and become the global subject matter expert on finished good master data and help execute and drive the Finished Good MDM roadmap. They will work closely with our Data & Analytics, and IT partners in identifying solutions to business problems.

This role will need to act as a strategic partner to our internal customers and stakeholders, providing thought leadership and their expertise in data management to solve business problems. They will interact in matrixed and cross-functional teams and need to be able to apply economic thinking and creative problem solving to identify issues, root causes, and potential solutions. Their work will be a mixture of defined roadmap initiatives and data improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage MDM Operations: Manage the finished goods MDM analyst and day-to-day operations of finished goods, Work In Progress (WIP) and bill of materials master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple ERP systems.
  • Develop & Implement Global MDM Governance: Develop and implement global Master Data Governance & Management processes for supply chain and manufacturing data across a multi-ERP environment for finished good domain. This role will also lead the standardization of data processes across business segments, ensuring seamless integration with planning tools and enterprise systems.
  • Develop, Implement, and Improve Data Quality Metrics: Develop and implement data quality metrics for the finished good master data domain globally to drive desired business outcomes. Monitor and report out on these metrics and lead projects to improve the quality and address root causes. Conduct data & process analytics in the customer domain to improve the quality and value of customer master data.
  • Finished Good Master Data Liaison and Partner - Act as the internal finished good master data liaison to the business units and corporate functions, using their knowledge and expertise in the domain to contribute towards business objectives. This role will also support various business and IT led projects as it relates to customer master data.
  • MDM Technology Implementation & Support - Support the implementation of a new analytical MDM platform for the finished good domain, including designing business rules, match & merge and survivorship logic, and data quality measures. Once deployed, they will be responsible for managing the MDM workflows, business rules, process optimization, and system.
  • Global Supply Chain Planning Implementation & Support - Assist in the data mapping for the Supply Chain Planning project and contribute to the business process mapping. This role will also help develop the data quality scorecard and lead data cleansing efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in master data management, supply chain, or data analytics in a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Experience in multi-ERP environments and data integration across complex systems.
  • Strong background in data governance, supply chain process optimization, and technology implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or AI-driven forecasting.
  • Familiarity with BoM management and governance best practices.
  • Supervisory experience.
