YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You'll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
Supplier Relationship Management: Acted as the primary point of contact for strategic suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, superior quality, and reliable service. Market Research and Sourcing: Conducted in-depth research on market intelligence, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify and source new products and suppliers. Proactively recommended product additions to expand current product lines. Negotiation and Cost Optimization: Analyzed detailed cost elements and negotiated pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to maximize cost savings without compromising quality. Inventory and ERP Management: Maintained accurate and efficient product information in the ERP system, including costs, suppliers, and stock levels, ensuring smooth procurement operations. Blueprints and Technical Schematics: Utilized blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentation to support product sourcing and development, particularly for electronics and technical devices. Product Development and R&D: Engaged in research and development projects to identify discontinued parts, source replacements, and introduce innovative solutions aligned with customer needs. Process Improvements: Delivered training, presentations, and improvement suggestions for procurement processes and systems. Cross-Department Collaboration: Worked closely with internal teams, including Accounts Payable, Quality Assurance, and Sales, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals. Balanced Scorecard Objectives: Fostered collaboration with suppliers, customers, and team members to meet key performance objectives and deliver exceptional outcomes.
HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's degree (preferred) Electronics understanding Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components. Industry Experience: Prior experience working with forklifts, aerial equipment, or construction machinery is preferred. Learning & Development: Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills; training will be provided. Product sourcing, research and development of construction equipment parts Supplier negotiations and success in achieving pricing, quality and service targets Supply chain and sourcing concepts and systems Accounting, purchasing, and Bill of Materials concepts and systems
