Senior Biomarker Sample Operations Associate (Hybrid - Chicago or San Francisco)

**This is a hybrid role - You will be working both remotely and on-site (3x per week) in either North Chicago or San Francisco**

Parexel is looking for a Senior Biomarker Sample Operation Associate to operationally deliver on client projects by working closely with client teams to ensure timely and smooth collection and transfer of clinical trial biospecimens in compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. This role will contribute to innovation and continuous improvement with client activities in biospecimen collection, processing, and transfers. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to carry out biospecimen operational responsibilities with minimal supervision.The ideal candidate will have a scientific background in life sciences, experience with clinical trials and LIMS, and expertise in Excel.

Your Skills:

• Client-focused approach to work

• Proficiency or working knowledge of LIMS (laboratory information management system)

• Advanced skills in Excel

• Clinical trials experience

• Data management experience

• Expertise in MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint

• Excellent oral and written communication in English

• Organization, attention to detail and effective time management skills with an ability to adapt to changing priorities

• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

• Critical thinking

• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment and work independently when needed

Your Profile:

• Master's Degree in scientific field or related discipline and 1+ year of project management, life science and/or clinical trial experience OR Bachelor's Degree in scientific field or related discipline and 4+ years of project management, life science and/or clinical trial experience

• Sample handling experience. This might be from working in the pharmaceutical industry, a biorepository or a diagnostics lab, for example

• LIMS experience

• Clinical trials experience

• Contributes to a positive and motivating work environment that encourages mutual respect, innovation, and accountability at all levels
