Lubbock Construction Project Manager - Project Inspections 40206BR Planning & Design Position Description Provides project management for major construction and renovation projects including budgeting, planning and programming, design, contracting, construction, commissioning, and close-out. It is committed to enhancing the cultural and economic development of the state, nation, and world. Major/Essential Functions ADMINISTRATIVE: Ensure documentation for the area is maintained. Create detailed guidelines for inspection processes, including checklists and criteria for evaluating construction sites. Hiring, training, and supervising a team of inspectors, ensuring they are proficient in inspection techniques and quality standards. Reviews inspection reports, ensuring that current industry regulations and quality standards are being adhered to. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or Interior Design or related field plus three years experience in large project management. An advanced degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications
