JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manager of Treasury Operations, reporting to the Director of Treasury Services, is responsible for overseeing the organization's banking and cash management functions. This role ensures Delta Dental's liquidity is managed effectively and efficiently to support strategic and operational goals. The Treasury Operations Manager will collaborate across functions to maintain robust financial health, adherence to regulatory standards, and operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead a team of treasury management professionals in executing cash management and banking operations. Manage and develop Treasury staff to achieve department objectives including determining staffing needs, setting goals, interviewing, selecting, coaching, and evaluating the performance of all direct reports.

* Manage overall relationships with all banking and financial partners. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with banking partners and ensure banking and financial products and services are in place to support operations.

* Secure lines of credit for each company in the appropriate amounts.

* Ensure segregation of duties and security protocols for all banking operations.

* Establish and enforce controls to ensure against unauthorized EFT transactions.

* Monitor and ensure overall liquidity for each Enterprise company to support operations. Develop short-term tactical cashflow forecasts to determine liquidity needs; develop long-term strategic cashflow forecasts to support planning efforts.

* Optimize returns from excess liquidity balances through short-term investments.

* Coordinate with Accounting, AR, and AP to facilitate intercompany transactions.

* Evaluate, implement, and maintain Treasury Management Systems. Provide analytics on bank fees and balances.

* Lead and facilitate projects that interface banking platforms with Enterprise systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in cash management, including forecasting and placement, and implementation and use of Treasury Management Systems and other financial software; 1+ years supervisory/management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, financial services, and liquidity management.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems and other financial software.
  • Skilled in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 22. $92,500 - $200,400 National Range.
