Duties & Responsibilities |
The post-doc will participate in all aspects of ALC research, including (1) assisting external researchers in acquiring data needed for their projects, (2) conducting independent research projects, (3) driving the development of new research methods and applications, and (4) participating in ALC education, training, and outreach activities. This is a year-to-year appointment contingent upon funding and performance. Funding may be available for up to two years.
- Assisting ALC visiting
researchers in acquiring data needed for their projects - Conducting independent research
projects and preparing manuscripts for publication - Driving the development of new
research methods and applications, and disseminating them in publications - Participating in ALC education,
training, and outreach activities.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Must have a doctorate degree completed in
Geosciences or equivalent field before hire date.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with MC-ICPMS at a Ph.D. level
- Experience with Laser Ablation analysis
- Ph.D. experience in Geochronology
