This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Portland, Oregon. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 3 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion.

PROGRAM SUMMARY

Interns can expect to gain valuable hands-on experience within their department while building partnerships with teams and fellow interns along the way!

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: ~10 weeks

Start Date Options: May 19th- July 25th or June 23rd - August 29th

Pay: $22.50/hr

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Supply Chain Innovation Intern to help drive the launch of innovation capabilities across our global organization. This role will provide hands-on experience working at the intersection of supply chain operations and strategy. You will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and implementing innovative ways-of-working that optimize efficiency, sustainability, and scalability.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of innovation capabilities focused on developing innovative operational strategy.
  • Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of innovation thinking into the supply chain.
  • Analyze existing supply chain workflows to identify opportunities for introducing new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain innovation, with a focus on scalability and ROI.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of pilot programs, including data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings to senior leaders.
  • Develop clear and engaging documentation, presentations, and updates to share progress and insights with stakeholders.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

YOU ARE

  • Curious and detail oriented

  • An excellent presenter and communicator, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized with solid time management skills
  • Self-driven and motivated to learn, asks the right questions to achieve goals

YOU HAVE

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.7 from an accredited college or university
  • A background in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree or being in a relevant graduate program could be a plus.
  • Relevant coursework in Supply Chain Management, Operations Strategy, Business Analytics, and Project Management.
  • Ability to analyze supply chain workflows and identify opportunities for optimization. Experience with data collection, analysis, and presenting findings.
  • Proficiency in conducting research on emerging trends and best practices in supply chain innovation. Understanding how to evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Current student with one of the following academic standings: Rising Senior, Senior, Graduate/ MBA student
  • Degree relevant to the internship you are applying for
  • Must be able to participate in 10-week program for either date option provided above
  • Must be able to work onsite at our headquarter location for the duration of the internship- interns will partner directly with their managers regarding expectations to work collaboratively in office specified days of the week
