Job Description

The School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics are pleased to announce the opening for a Finance & Accounting Analyst. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in the success of sustaining our department's mission and goals for our finance team.

Detailed Description:

Handles the fiscal transactions for the Department of Pediatrics. Reporting through a variety of different tools including ad hoc reporting. This position works closely with leadership teams in the department to train them on financial oversight of their respective division.

* Prepares monthly financial reports using the department guidelines to be sure the proper documentation is on file for transactions.
* Training and troubleshooting on finance applications including reports and requisitions,
* Prepares monthly reconciliation reports
* Prepare JED funding changes or ePAF's for hiring, job changes, and terminations for personnel within the department.
* Provide support and input to the department budgeting effort via department discussions and through data entry into budgeting software.
* Other duties as assigned

Shift Type: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm

Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: No

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Hiring Range: $21.28 - $27.00
Grade: GGS-009
