Overview:

As the GETMod Transformation Consultant, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of GETMod offerings and products using industry and Insight specific frameworks and methodologies. Success is ensured by your experience, education, and leadership capabilities. Specific knowledge is required of offerings that combine IT hardware, software, professional services, managed services, advanced technology and development of intellectual property.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams in assessing our customers' environments, identifying and defining key problems, recommending solutions, and designing programs for their implementation. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of IT systems and a proven ability to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

GETMod is an invitation-only program for generating GSI Incubation solutions in partnership with key customers. GETMod assessments evaluate people, processes, spaces, and technology to align desired outcomes with modern approaches. These assessments guide clients through best-fit governance, AI, and automation frameworks to support their goals and initiatives. The customized designs from the GETMod COE (Center of Excellence) transform outdated manual processes into modern solutions that align with an organization's current requirements.

Modern project delivery necessitates fluency across a spectrum of practices, enabling professionals to select the most appropriate methodology for achieving successful client outcomes. In this dynamic and evolving landscape, the GETMod Transformation Consultant must exhibit exceptional adaptability and agility, ensuring the team can pivot as required and effectively utilize capabilities across different Solutions Lines and Disciplines.

The role of the GETMod Transformation Consultant encompasses several critical responsibilities. It is imperative for this individual to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of diverse project delivery frameworks and possess the acumen to determine their applicability based on situational requirements.

By empowering clients with innovative solutions and strategic insights, the GETMod Transformation Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving sustained success and competitive advantage and working with the Performance Management lead to identify the measurable objectives to guide continued success in the client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the Insight Brand internally and externally
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of customers' IT environments to understand their current state, capabilities, and limitations.
• Identify and define key problems within the customer's IT infrastructure and processes. Analyze root causes and their impacts on business operations.
• Perform market research and develop, create client and competitor stories using input from sales, clients and market problem statements.
• Develop and recommend tailored IT solutions that address identified problems. Ensure solutions align with customer needs, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to design and build offerings and solutions.
• Design detailed programs for the implementation of recommended solutions. Create project plans, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure successful deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure alignment, define project scope, and secure buy-in for proposed solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports that outline findings, recommendations, and implementation plans. Ensure clarity and precision in communication.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT technologies and methodologies. Continuously upgrade skills and knowledge to provide cutting-edge solutions.
• Provide training and support to customer teams to ensure they can effectively operate and maintain the implemented solutions.
• Provide expert advice on IT strategy, architecture, and technology trends to senior management and clients.
• Develop and present business cases, proposals, and strategic recommendations to clients.
• Offer guidance on IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency improvements.

What you'll need to join Insight

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Information Technology or related field preferred.
• 7 or more years of experience in Product Development and Management or similar roles focused on product, offering, and/or solution development for clients.
• 5 or more years of technology experience, business analyst experience, presales for service offerings, and/or experience at industry peer (or OEM).
• 5 or more years of experience with services from an integrator, channel provider, MSP, or OEM provider within similar industry as Insight; competent understand channel services and MSP providers.
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Understanding of product/offering lifecycle approach
• Additional experience required in operationalizing delivery, presales and sales, marketing, and/or service delivery
• Proven expertise in identifying and resolving complex IT issues.
• Proficiency in a wide range of IT technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically.
• Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Public speaking and presenting
• Ability to communicate complex business messaging with industry analysts
• Experience with analytical, data-based approaches
• Ability to travel
• Agile experience a plus.
