At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. If you're located within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE As a Marketing Intern at BECU, you'll support the development and execution of marketing initiatives that enhance brand engagement and support business objectives. You'll assist in coordinating marketing projects, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution. WHAT YOU'LL DO Driving Marketing Initiatives: Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with BECU's vision and business objectives, ensuring impactful results. Coordinate Cross-Functional Efforts: Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing projects, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless execution. Develop Marketing Plans: Craft comprehensive marketing plans that support assigned departments and initiatives, ensuring a cohesive brand presence. Engage Target Audiences: Work closely with stakeholders to evolve the BECU brand, reaching and engaging new audiences effectively. Manage Project Timelines & Budgets: Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure initiatives stay on track and within scope. Analyze Market Trends: Stay ahead of market dynamics, leveraging insights to refine marketing strategies and improve performance. Drive Promotional Marketing: Oversee merchandising strategies, ensuring adherence to brand standards and maximizing impact. Assess Campaign Performance: Monitor and evaluate advertising programs, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth. Represent BECU at Events: Participate in trade events and industry activities, enhancing brand presence and fostering meaningful connections. Incorporate Member Feedback: Analyze member insights and feedback to enhance marketing programs and improve overall engagement. Ensure Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of advertising regulations and credit union marketing policies to ensure all efforts align with legal requirements. Support Escalations & Research: Respond to marketing-related inquiries, providing research-backed solutions and recommendations. Continue Learning & Growing: Stay informed on emerging marketing trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS *Minimum qualifications* Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications required, or equivalent degree program. Knowledge of marketing fundamentals in a business environment. Knowledge of project management, Microsoft Office, problem-solving, brand positioning, marketing strategies, communication, and budgeting.
