System Solution Engineer Plano, Texas, United States - ams-OSRAM USA Inc. What we expect For the position of Regional Systems Solution Engineer, we seek a highly motivated individual to be our 1st point of technical contact with our customers in the region Americas in the domain Medical Imaging (Detector IC/ADC) Industrial ASIC (Automation, Robotics, ect.), Automotive ASIC and Driver IC. Responsibilities: 1st level Technical support for Customers in the region Supporting world-leading innovations on medical imaging technologies (CT and X-ray) as well as in Automotive display and lighting technologies Support Product Management and Regional Sales on Go To Market strategies in the region Coordination of technical aspects of Customer communication with System Architects and Engineering Close communication and alignment with PL Medical, PL Sensor Interfaces and PL Light-Solutions, BL SSE and PL R&D teams Define technical specifications with customers for new product definition, in coordination with System Architects Interface to assembly subcontractors and suppliers in the region, both for product definition and project development. Follow up and tracking of milestones in close alignment with our Sales organization Design-win support for leading accounts, addressing technical aspects of our solutions Who we are looking for Technical Education (Technical College, Bachelor or Master), preferably in Electronics 5+ year experience in a similar position, as Field Application Engineer, System Architect or equivalent Expertise / Application Know-how in the field of ASIC Design, Semiconductor background Understanding of Industrial/Medical and Automotive markets and trends in the region Self-starter and self-sufficient in addressing customer requests Excellent communication skills Willingness to travel (50%), predominantly in the USA Based preferably in Plano Fluent in English both written and spoken ams OSRAM is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
