Compensation Grade: P23Compensation Details: Minimum: $82,711.00 - Maximum: $82,711.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) AI - AIDS InstituteJob Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Health Program Administrator I. The Health Program Administrator I will be located in the Bureau of HIV Ambulatory Care Services within the Division of HIV and Hepatitis Health Care. The incumbent will monitor healthcare-related contracts across New York State, including providing technical assistance, assessing provider performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with program work plans, standards, and goals. Join our team and take an active role in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs that strategically address health inequities and support ending epidemics. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of experience in the administration of personnel, fiscal, or other related operational activity; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. At least one year of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and one-year contract management experience. Familiarity with using a contract management system. Knowledge of issues related to the provision of services to persons with and/or at risk for HIV/AIDS. Experience working with HIV/AIDS community-based organizations/health service providers, monitoring and evaluating program activities and conducting quality improvement activities. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, up to 25% of the time, will be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
