Position Summary:
System Engineer position located at our manufacturing facility in Danbury, CT and reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, is responsible for supporting the end user community of MannKind Corporation. Provides first and second level support to onsite and remote workers. Responds to central services requests for complex support issues. Runs diagnostics on computer hardware. This is a Temp to Hire position!
Principal Responsibilities:


  • Provide general technical support for hardware, operating systems, database, telephony systems, and the corporate networks.
  • Provide extraordinary support to all levels of the organization.
  • Participate on and provide technical guidance and support to project teams for business related projects
  • Perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and their peripherals.
  • Perform administration activities and day-to-day support of systems
  • Build, deploy and manage computer images
  • Support cloud storage
  • Maintains document library for technical and how-to documentation
  • Perform special projects, as assigned by IT management.
  • On-call rotation is required.



Education and Experience Qualifications:



  • BA/BS degree with 2-3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 deployments and support, desktop services, and collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and other Microsoft services)
  • An understanding of PXE technology, deploying and managing computer imaging across a network.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex network booting issues.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of imaging problems.
  • Resourceful and innovative, willing to think "out of the box" when developing solutions.
  • A+ certification preferred
  • Microsoft certification preferred
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills




Pay Range: $92,000 - $138,000 per year
