Supply Chain Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

Assist with supply chain management including forecasting and ordering; product distribution; development and maintenance of trade accounts. Facilitate communication with KCL regarding KHUS Supply Chain activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with negotiating contracts and agreements with key accounts
  • Coordinate and lead in major supply chain projects
  • Contribute ideas and positive suggestions to senior management regarding major issues
  • Work with product manufacturers, KCL, and partners where applicable to update manufacturing forecasts, place and monitor orders, and coordinate supply chain activities to ensure appropriate inventory levels of KHUS products
  • Build rapport with key distribution and supply chain partners
  • Attend appropriate trade shows and meetings to help build on current success and create future alliances
  • Strategic planning for creation of programs and processes with key home office personnel to ensure greater product pull through
  • Work with brand teams to develop new trade programs and to monitor and maximize success of ongoing programs
  • Communicate and promote awareness, branding, and reputation of KHUS
  • Identify opportunities, creating presentations, and communicating changing landscape of corporate chain account business to organization.
  • Manage departmental budgets and promotional spending
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree or higher
  • Experience in the beverage industry. Experience in a broad range of areas is preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of distribution in the beverage l industry from product launch to end user
  • Efficient oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills are required
  • Ability to handle difficult situations using excellent interpersonal, negotiating and problem solving skills
