Inside the Role Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June. Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability. We are looking for high performing and motivated interns in various areas within our legal department. The legal intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal projects and matters under the close supervision of our highly experienced attorneys in one or more of the following practice groups: Business Innovation and Corporate Law, Litigation and Technical Compliance, Labor and Employment, Antitrust and Dealers, and Compliance and Outreach. We Take Care of Our Team Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $30 per hour. Benefits include: Professional development and networking events, including resume reviews/mock interviews Housing and transportation stipend Employee resource groups Event ticket offering (based on corporate availability) Company social events What You Drive at DTNA Assist with drafting and analysis of various contract types Support development, implementation and tracking of ethical compliance programs Research legal issues to guide internal clients on legal and business risk associated with, for example, data privacy, dealer and vendor agreements, technical compliance, employment/labor considerations, and merger and acquisitions Assist with improving legal processes Support creation and delivery of training programs Attend internal client meetings and external client negotiations, as necessary and requested Knowledge You Should Bring Must be currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor Program from an accredited college/university or have graduated within the last 12 months.
