This RN will assist in the delivery of compassionate and competent care including the treatment of patients utilizing both clinical judgment and critical thinking to ensure the highest quality of care delivery. The essential functions of this are:
*Assist with the preparation of equipment and aid physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patient *Travel to alternate offices, as necessary, and perform all duties as required by each location. *Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed practical nurses and medical assistants *Monitor nursing in-basket for prescription requests and route them to the appropriate clinician *Effectively triages patients and assists other members of the team with the rooming process as necessary *Escalates any concerning patient conditions or decompensation to the clinician immediately *Administer all medications and treatments per protocol *Monitor and maintain code cart, AED and order supplies as necessary *Respond to all same-day messages and log into the appropriate location according to protocol *Assist in supervising new staff in clinical tasks *Attend meetings, workshops, and training classes and participate in committees as requested *Maintain professional affiliations and participate in professional development activities *Maintain patient confidentiality *Other duties as assigned Required
We strongly prefer 2-5 years of prior nursing experience, but we are open to considering a variety of nursing backgrounds! Additional preferences are prior experience within an Urgent Care or ED and an education level of a Bachelor's degree. We pride ourselves on having a close-knit, highly collaborative team.
