Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being Afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.

• Supervisory role in eye practice with the collaboration of an attending physician
• Ability to teach residents in a residency training program
• Supervisory role in the operating room with residents
• Assist in coordinating journal clubs & case presentations
• Dedication to resident education and improvement of overall resident experience
• Commitment to working with others within the healthcare system and maintaining the mission of the Ophthalmology Practices
• Good communication skills

• Completion of an ACGME Accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program
• Board certified or Board eligible in Ophthalmology
• New York State License

Wages and Benefits Include: Annual Base Salary: $56,700 based on a 12-hour work week. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $62,370**,which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
