Inside Sales Territory Development

Job Function

The Inside Sales-Territory Development role is responsible for driving results with key accounts and prospective accounts to increase customer engagement, account revenue, and support overall revenue growth within their assigned territory. In addition to supporting the territory development manager, this role will ensure customers receive technical support, dedicated service, and product and service education.

Specific Job Duties:

Key Account & Project Management (40%)

  • Manages key account requests from ideation to post-install support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with procurement, engineering, and production teams to develop and deliver customer solutions.
  • Proactively identifies and resolves customer challenges to ensure a seamless experience, collaborating with internal teams as needed
  • Owns large opportunity requests or works with customer experience teams to develop optimal solutions.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key contacts to drive an increase in opportunity for quoting, and expanded use of Gemini offerings.
  • Provides an exceptional customer experience ensure customer expectations are met from quote to installation.

Sales & Business Development (30%)

  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities with key and prospective accounts.
  • Act as a product expert, providing training, product spotlights, and capability awareness to enhance partnerships.
  • Partner with regional sales managers to support key account growth strategies and channel partnerships.

Sales Operations & Reporting (20%)

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting to track progress and support business goals.
  • Stay informed on company capabilities through ongoing collaboration with product management.
  • Continuously develop sales skills, including outbound calling, professional communication, presentations, and project management.

Customer & Industry Engagement (10%)

  • Participate in customer visits, company events, facility tours, and industry functions to support relationship-building and revenue growth.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and enhance sales strategies.
  • Represent the company professionally and contribute to business development initiatives.

Pay range is an approximate and will vary based on geographic location. Approximate annual rate is $50,357 - $72,389.

  • Demonstrates excellence in communication, active listening, presentations and delivery both written and verbal, in-person and virtually

Required Qualifications

  • Two - year associate's degree in business or related areas with a minimum of (8) years demonstrated success in an inside sales or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field preferred with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the signage industry and strong technical aptitude are considered a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM tools
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
