Position Purpose
Capital Bank is seeking a driven and innovative Digital Marketing, B2B to lead strategic marketing initiatives for Capital Bank's SBA and USDA lending programs and Windsor Advantage division. This role is pivotal to scaling these specialty verticals, driving demand, and building national recognition for our capabilities in government-guaranteed lending.

Windsor Advantage, the nation's leading lender service provider, with a proven track record of closing $2 billion in loans over the past eight years, and servicing a $1 billion loan portfolio nationwide. By combining Windsor's expertise with Capital Bank's vision, the AVP, Digital Marketing will play a critical role in advancing our mission to create innovative and profitable lending strategies for banks, credit unions, and businesses across the United States.

This position will focus on generating high-quality leads and growing market share of Capital Bank's SBA and USDA programs as well as the Windsor Accel platform. The successful candidate will have a strong B2B digital marketing background, an understanding of the lending sales cycle, and expertise in demand generation and partner marketing.


Position Responsibilities

  • SBA & USDA Marketing Strategy

    • Develop and execute distinct marketing strategies for SBA lending programs, tailoring campaigns to address the unique needs of different loan sizes.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to create targeted messaging and content that aligns with the needs of each segment, ensuring tailored approaches based on loan size and business objectives.
    • Drive awareness and demand for USDA lending programs, emphasizing renewable energy financing solutions like energy audits, solar installations, biofuel production, and rural development projects.
    • Partner with internal teams to craft content and campaigns that position Capital Bank as a leader in government-guaranteed lending, with a focus on industry niches, collateral types, and unique funding needs.
    • Support events, webinars, and partnerships to educate businesses and financial institutions on the benefits of SBA and USDA loans.


  • Windsor Advantage Marketing

    • Lead digital marketing efforts to attract new bank and credit union partners for Windsor Advantage's lender services.
    • Drive awareness and optimize the usage of the Windsor Accel platform, enhancing SBA loan origination efficiency for partner institutions.
    • Create and distribute marketing materials, such as case studies, white papers, and success stories, that position Windsor as the premier provider of SBA and USDA lending solutions.


  • Demand Generation & Digital Campaigns

    • Develop and implement demand generation campaigns across digital channels, including email, paid search, SEO, and account-based marketing (ABM).
    • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud to design, deploy, and optimize multi-channel campaigns that nurture leads and support business objectives.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities and refine messaging.


  • Performance Measurement

    • Establish KPIs and track the success of campaigns to ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Provide regular performance reporting and actionable insights to leadership.
    • Optimize campaigns based on data analysis to maximize ROI.


  • Collaboration & Leadership

    • Partner with internal stakeholders, including product, sales, and digital teams, to align marketing efforts with broader strategic goals.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on SBA, USDA, and Windsor Advantage programs, educating internal and external audiences on their benefits and impact.





Minimum Education & Experience



  • 7+ years of B2B digital marketing experience, preferably in financial services
  • Proven success in scaling marketing strategies and driving measurable results.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in partner marketing and demand generation, including ABM.
  • Knowledge of government-guaranteed programs (SBA, USDA) a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing SaaS platforms is highly desirable.



Technical Knowledge and Skills



  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to tailor marketing approaches for diverse verticals.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation systems.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for supporting small businesses



Working Arrangements



  • Open to 100% remote candidates dependent upon experience.
  • Hybrid work opportunities available for those open to working within the Rockville, MD office location.



Compensation:



  • Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
  • Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual target bonus based on individual performance.
