Compensation Grade: M25Compensation Details: Minimum: $92,385.00 - Maximum: $92,385.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OVH) Contract Administration- OverheadJob Description: Responsibilities The Senior Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and managing of multiple special projects of the Office of Contracts and Operations within the Executive Office. Specifically, the incumbent will lead coordination activities that are related to the expansion of coverage of individuals with chronic conditions enrolled under New York State's Essential Plan. The incumbent will provide critical support for developing and implementing project structure, operations, evaluation metrics, procedures. This role also requires contract management, procurement review, invoicing, and reporting. The incumbent will lead the coordination and implementation of a contract system, collaborating with vendors and colleagues within the NYS Department of Health. The incumbent will perform tasks related to supervision of staff and other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of project coordination or project management experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of project coordination or project management experience. Preferred Qualifications Procurement and contract management experience. Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience communicating to various audiences (written and verbal). Master's degree in Public Administration. Conditions of Employment Management/Confidential position. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
